Kradl was inspired by the inventor's near-death experience on a San Diego hiking trail, which led him to pursue biking to restore his physical health. It didn't take many rides for him to realize that he needed a better way to retrieve and store his bike in his cluttered garage. An engineer by trade, he set off to design a better bike storage solution, and Kradl was born.
